Going Public - For better or Worst!
Bloodline Background & The Resistance
The current year for our homebrewed Clone Wars era campaign is set during 28 ABY.
Inspired By George Lucas

This is one of those things where I really never thought I would share with the public for fear of people not liking it so it stayed hidden since ... well ... "forever" lol. Now that I've decided to open this place up, I'm still not sure if I should ... maybe just keep it for my group only might be better but it's a little late for that now haha. Just a little on the nervous side lol I've never done an actual campaign blog before for a RPG game so all of this is new for me.

"Oh and you can check the left link, and click on a mood music link if you like - might make this place look better lol"
"Probably not though ..."

My former five player group fell apart a couple of years ago due to real life stuff going on so I am currently down to two players. I do plan to start this campaign off with just the two of them and hopefully pick up two more players soon after we start. It's set a little after the novel Bloodline. I have not ran a game in many years and never have I ran a digital game online before. I am sure mistakes will happen often.

What I do have set in stone right now is - I want to only have four players "possibly five" in this campaign but five players will be the max. I am not sure I can handle an online game with a lot of players in the group, it will be hard enough running it for just four players. This campaign will be played using 1st edition rules only. I won't get into great detail on the campaign since some of it has been posted below "that will all be written up in the Game Journals section". I plan to try to run this game once/twice per month. Hopefully I can find people with easy schedules to work with. It will be a Roll20/Discord game that will be recorded and uploaded to Youtube in my Youtube channel. Check here for what I would like to look for. For better or worst - here it is "with all it's warts and blemishes".

Escape From Mos Shuuta Introduction
Bloodline Background & The Resistance
The current year for our homebrewed Clone Wars era campaign is set during 28 ABY.
Inspired By George Lucas

Fleeing from the Hutt gangsters pursuing Gamorrean thug's, our two fugitives duck off into an alley attempting to catch their breathe. Shouts from nearby ingorm the pair that the Gamorrean's are close. They run down the alley and notice a small cantina nearby so they decide to attempt to lose their pursuit by ducking off into the tavern. They step through the main door, down a short flight of strairs into a shadowy common room, the cool air a blessed relief from the scourching heat of Tatooine.

The bartender pauses in his chores to momentarily stare at the two, his devilish features intimidating. On a stage against the far wall, a Twi'lek woman dances to pre-recorded music. Private booths like the walls, and the cantina floor is scattered with tables and chairs. A few patrons turn and stare at Jasper and Synergy as they enter the establishment. The only other exits than can be seen from the room are what appears to be a storage closet in one corner and a doorway behind the Twi'lek dancer.

The arched roof is supported by thick, heavy struts. The companions know they only have a short moment before the Gamorrean's catch up to them. Below are each of our two characters background and personalities ...

I have spent most of my adult life traveling from one place to another hiring myself to various people for my technical & mechanics skills I possess. I have a way around engines and such but am most happy when I am working on computers and other technical devices.
I consider myself very friendly and outspoken and am easy to get along with, "for the most part" although I will admit, I do have a unique personality. I consider myself very intelligent and am always keenly aware of everything going on around me.

I take whatever job that I can find fixing things or just simply doing odd jobs for whatever employer will hire me. Eventually my luck did run out however when I agreed to take a shipment of merchandise to an undisclosed location in the Tatooine system where I found some rather distastful pirates. My cargo was stolen and I was placed in chains. Through no small bit of thinking on my feet, I showed these brigants that my talents could benefit them and I was allowed to maintain equipment and such for them. My luck did run out eventually though when I was "loaned out" to a Hutt Gangster on Tatooine named Teemo the Hutt. From that point on, things started to come undone. I admit, Teemo paid me quite well for my services. My most recent assignment was to accompany a pilot named Jasper to deliver a cargo hold full of merchandise to one of the Hutt's buyers.

Before we could deliver the goods, we were ambushed by a band of pirates who attacked and boarded our ship. The cargo was stolen and we were left with nothing but an unflyable freighter. After Jasper sold off the wreckage to make enough money to book passage back to Tatooine to explain to Teemo the Hutt what had happened we heading back to the Hutt's palace. The explaining was not what we had hoped for and shortly after the decision was made that he and I should make a hasty exit from the Hutt's employment.

Some people say I am a bit jaded and cynical at first which I guess I can relate to having seeing much of the worst the galaxy had to offer me at a young age. I have always been very careful to not get too atached to anyone or anything. I consider myself a professional mechanic/tech and I take a serious approach to my work, focusing on results rather then any emotional considerations.

It's been a hard run for me as a legitimate, honest, hard working smuggler ... even though some might call me a con-man or rogue - "none of that is true of course". First I was ejected from the Republic flight school for "insubordination" which is apparently a fancy word for "stealing a shuttle for a quick flight around the planet to impress a young woman". Then my favorite speeder bike was impounded when I fell "slightly behind" on a few debt payments "that I fully intended to pay off". I was then arrested for "allegedly" grifting "petty or small-scale swindling" on the streets of Coruscant "all of which was totally untrue .... well, for the most part".

After these totally false accusations I was then transported for hard labor in the spice mines of Kessel, which was apparently some noble's way of getting back at me for something involving his daughter. During the trip to Kessel the ship I was on was attacked by pirates and I was pressed-ganged into service. Somehow through a series of unfortunate events, I was handed over to a particularly nasty Hutt Gangster named Teemo the Hutt and informed I was now under his employ and was to be flying his ships for him.

Recently, I have been flying cargo ships for the Hutt lord in and out of the small spaceport of Mos Shuuta on Tatooine. In some ways it has been the most boring and peaceful eight weeks of my life. In other ways, I keep getting shot at by pirates and customs officials and having to do risky landings in remote, dangerous places, so it's terrifying at the same time. On my most recent mission, my ship, a rusty old Ghtroc 720 light freighter named the Ao Var, was damaged beyond repair when it was attacked and boarded by pirates. The cargo that I was carrying aboard the ship was also stolen. I was forced to sell the ship for parts in order to have the money to book passage back to Tatooine for myself "and Synergy - since she accompanied me on this cargo haul" to explain to the Hutt lord what had happened.

Teemo the Hutt was not happy, since the ship was technically his property and the loss of his cargo did not help matters either. Since I was foced to use the money from selling the ship for transport back to Tatooine I could not even offer him the money from the sale of his ship. This is when I figured it best that I leave the Hutt's service "which apparently Teemo was not happy about that either ... sometimes you just can't make anyone happy". So I teamed up with my good friend Synergy to make the escape possible. Despite a long life of misfortune, I consider myself lucky - and perhaps I am. After all, if I hadn't been arrested and transported off of Coruscant, I might not ever had gotten out of jail. Come to think of it ... I do have a knack and coming through bad times unscathed. I really am an "excellent" pilot and pretty good at a lot of other things as well and my easy-going nature is one whom things come to easily.
